Alumnae chapters can fill sisters’ social calendars with opportunities to relax, learn or just enjoy a night out on the town—all while spending quality time with other Zetas. Members get together for painting and pottery-making, ice skating, apple picking, trying out new restaurants, rooting for their favorite sports teams, playing board games, learning how to crochet or visiting a local museum. Whenever two or more ZTA alumnae are gathered, you know they’re having fun!

Alumnae connect with their communities and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood through service and fundraising activities. How are sisters serving? They are collecting school supplies for children and personal care items for women’s shelters, creating valentine cards for military members, preparing dinner for families at local Ronald McDonald Houses and honoring breast cancer survivors at community events. Our alumnae also support the ZTA Foundation through fundraising efforts such as selling plants and final exams survival kits for collegians, hosting garage sales, organizing karaoke contests, and much more.

Alumnae and collegians regularly share in ZTA’s sisterhood through collaborative programs that encourage interaction, improve communication and build a supportive network. Alumnae-collegiate relations are strengthened through service projects, Founders’ Day celebrations, Pink Out games, strawberry socials, craft nights and other fun activities. Alumnae also serve as mentors and chapter advisors. When alumnae demonstrate how Zeta Is Forever, our collegiate members gain examples of lifelong commitment to ZTA and the alumnae world awaiting them after college.

Our ZTA sisterhood is full of diverse interests, talents and tastes. To meet the various needs of our members and make the most of our sisters’ time, many alumnae chapters create Crown Connections groups. These subgroups within a chapter are based on areas of interest, geographic locations or schedule availability. Some popular Crown Connections groups include book clubs, moms’ groups, fitness enthusiasts, coffee connoisseurs and Saturday lunch bunches. All it takes is a sister or two to take the lead.
