ZTA and Yoplait® Save Lids to Save Lives® program Expands to all Campuses!
 

This October, thinking pink could mean more green for the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, Inc.

ZTA is pleased to announce that this fall the THINK-PINK! ® to Save Lids to Save Lives® Yoplait yogurt lid collection will include all ZTA collegiate chapters. In addition to the 10 cents donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for each pink yogurt lid collected by ZTA, Yoplait will donate an additional 5 cents to the ZTA Foundation up to 300,000 lids! The Yoplait website and Yoplait newsletter will also feature the ZTA lid collection.

In August, all ZTA collegiate chapters will receive customized ZTA Save Lids to Save Lives® Yoplait lid collection kits. The chapters will receive co-branded materials to publicize their lid collection. The kits will include table tents, posters (right), banners (below), collection bins, counter cards and T-shirts all featuring the ZTA and Yoplait logos. ZTA alumnae can help by saving their lids for the nearest collegiate chapter.
     

2004 Yoplait Lid Collection Winners
In 2004, ZTA and Yoplait piloted the THINK-PINK! ® to Save Lids to Save Lives® chapter lid collection with ZTA collegiate chapters.

We are pleased to announce the winning chapter was Gamma Xi Chapter (right) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As a result of their lid collecting efforts, Gamma Xi members will receive yoga mats with ZTA and Yoplait® logos. Other chapters recognized for their successful lid collection include Kappa Chapter at The University of Texas at Austin, Alpha Psi Chapter at University of Missouri-Columbia, Gamma Epsilon Chapter at Pennsylvania State University, Gamma Omicron Chapter at Central Michigan University, Eta Phi Chapter at Illinois State University, Iota Delta Chapter at Towson University in Maryland, and Kappa Alpha Chapter at Colorado State University. Congratulations to all chapters who participated!
