| The
ZTA Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign allows every
collegiate and alumna ZTA to share in the mission of the Foundation.
This campaign includes direct mail appeals, phone-a-thons and
Zeta Day donations. Honor and memorial
gifts may also be made. Alumnae and collegiate chapters
implement fundraisers to benefit the philanthropic endeavors
of Zeta Tau Alpha. The monies collected are submitted to the
Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to support its endeavors.
With a
minimum donation of $30,000, an individual or a chapter can
establish an Endowed Fund. The interest generated by the fund
is used by the Foundation as outlined by the donor. Endowed
funds provide money for scholarships, breast cancer education
and other qualified programs. The Foundation President works
with the donor to establish the fund along with the desired
designations and requirements for the use of the fund. |

All members
who have designated the Foundation as beneficiary in their will,
retirement plan, stock or other type of deferred gift become members
of the Heritage Society. This club specifically
recognizes individuals whose gifts to the Foundation will benefit
the Fraternity in the years to come. The Foundation honors Heritage
Society members at Convention and in other ways.
Many corporations
or their foundations match donations made by their
employees. Donors are encouraged to contact their employer's development
office to determine the policy and criteria for their particular
company. Completed matching grant forms should be returned to International
Office where the Foundation will verify the donations and submit
the required information to the corporation.
Donations in
any amount may be made online (coming soon) or sent to the ZTA Foundation
at 3450 Founders Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
